A Question-Sensitive Theory of Intention

Abstract This paper develops a question-sensitive theory of intention. We show that this explains some puzzling closure properties In particular, it can be used to explain why one is rationally required intend the means one’s ends, even though not all foreseen consequences intended actions. It also rational intention always closed under logical implication, and only outcomes believes control.
